Two Sentences

Another surprisingly social day chatting with neighbors. The sun shone just long enough for me to run my long run too — what luck.

A rushed run, a friend's lunch cookout, another 1-1 chat with a friend, and then nightreign with the peeps. Another day well spent.

My boss dangles autonomy and self-determination in a way that I haven't felt since my last job. I am truly cooked and probably staying at this job for a while huh?

I needed to catch up on sleep. As a wise friend said at dinner today: “I gotta sleep early”; and so I did.

Triple-fisting three Claude Code instances is my limit — I can't practically monitor the output of one more without ignoring another; this must be the feeling of being in a polycule, except with none of the fun parts. And yet the rain keeps pouring.

Work just ramped up in terms of parallel tasks to handle; not excited about that. I was too annoyed with the rain to go out for a run.

Things didn't turn out as annoying at work as they could've been. An old friend and I caught up over life and Zoom.

Took the time to catch up on sleep. Did a 7 mile long run after, then kept experimenting with Gastown.

No good night's sleep the entire week, and now it's even worse with Gastown also pushing to the main branch willy-nilly, causing slight panic. At least I got to hang out with friends in board games and talk to the love of my life in the evening!

The birthday dinner was fun, but I came home to $1200 in expenditures to the company claude account. Goodbye, Gastown.
